Lifestyle Photographs with Children

Photographing children is a fun experience. They have minds of their own and do what they want. I believe that capturing these natural moments are so amazing for the parents who see this with their children every day. Children do not generally pose so getting them making their own faces and posing their own way, or simply playing make the best photographs!

Family Photos are so Important

Last week our family faced a traumatic event.  My significant other's children suddenly lost their mother.  Her death was unexpected and the family was left at a loss.  They had to quickly arrange a funeral and make decisions regarding what the next steps were. 
One of the first things the kids did was look for family photographs.  They were lucky and were able to find pictures of the kids with mom as well as photos of mom herself as a child. 
We get so caught up in taking pictures of our children that we forget to take pictures of us WITH our children.  Taking the time to have family portraits done will be so meaningful now as well as when a family member is no longer with us. 
There is never the perfect time any time is the best time to capture these cherished moments.
